Virtual Academy students visited Lake Tobias Wildlife Park in Halifax, PA. We explored many wildlife habitats, took a Safari Tour, and loved the hands-on experiences at the Reptiles and Exotics, and the Petting Zoo.

Seniors Olivia Moyer and Maci Rohrbach led the Seedlings for Schools program for the Virtual Academy. We distributed 500 seedlings (white spruce, Norway spruce, ninebark, and silky dogwood shrubs) to High School students and staff. Happy Spring!

Thank you so much to everyone who came to MIOS on Saturday to support our music students. Despite the rain, the event was a big success! Our students had wonderful performances, and the combined Grades 4-12 band was a highlight. The Music Department and Music Boosters are grateful for all the support! The 18th annual Music In Our Schools concert will be held tomorrow, March 9th at the BHHS Auditorium beginning at 3:00pm. This event is a district-wide showcase of our students’ musical talents and gives the audience the opportunity to witness the musical growth of students as they advance through the years. We encourage Brandywine families to relax, enjoy all performances, and stay for the day. We hope to see you there!

Mrs. Greiss led Virtual Academy students in a lesson about astronomical art, which is a genre of art that focuses on the universe as a frame of reference. Students used pastels to create their space art pieces.
